Useful and Beautiful Homeschooling

William Morris- Beautiful and Useful Homes . . . Homeschooling
William Morris- Beautiful and Useful Homes . . . Homeschooling

I stumbled on this quote on the blog Becoming Minimalist.

William Morris: “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”

William Morris! I wrote my Printing and Publishing degree final paper on William Morris and his finding a functional typeface/font. For him, everything was about form, function, and beauty.

That’s what I want our homeschooling environment and curriculum to be focused on. Twisting his quote, “Have nothing in our Home Education that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”

Simple.
